Exact Online is a cloud platform for accounting and business management, made by the Dutch software company Exact. It is widely used by small and medium-sized businesses and accounting firms in the Netherlands and Belgium, and covers bookkeeping, invoicing, banking, VAT returns and, depending on the package, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, projects and payroll.

The Exact Online API
Exact Online offers a REST API that other software uses to read and write data: customers, items, orders, invoices, journal entries and more. Access works through OAuth 2.0, and each company administration (a "division") is addressed separately. The API has limits per minute and per day, so integrations that sync a lot of data must use bulk and sync endpoints and handle limits carefully. Exact also offers webhooks for a number of topics, so changes can be picked up without constant polling. Apps can be listed in the Exact App Center.
