Off-the-shelf inventory software or custom?
If your way of working fits a standard package, start there. Custom software makes sense with multiple warehouses or channels, batch or serial number tracking, non-standard processes or missing integrations. Sometimes the best answer is an existing package plus a custom integration; we'll tell you honestly.
What is the difference between inventory software and a WMS?
Inventory software tracks how much stock you have, what it is worth and when to reorder. A WMS also controls the physical warehouse: locations, putaway, picking routes and shipping. Smaller operations often need only the first; larger warehouses need both.
Which valuation methods are supported?
FIFO, weighted average and standard cost are the most common, and the method is chosen to match your accounting. Valuation is calculated from the recorded stock movements, so every number can be traced back.
Does it work with barcode scanners or with a phone?

Can it connect to my web shop and accounting?
Yes. With Exact Online, AFAS, Twinfield, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Amazon, Bol.com and most other systems that have an API. During design we check per system what is possible.
Do we own the source code?
You can. Ownership of the source code is set out in the contract, and the code can be fully yours, including documentation and tests.
