Privacy Policy — GeoRift

GeoRift is a geography game for Android, made by SemBricks. This privacy policy explains which data the app uses, why, and what your rights are.
1. Who is responsible
GeoRift is made by SemBricks, a company based in the Netherlands. Privacy contact: privacy@sembricks.com.
2. No account, no server of our own
- You do not need an account, and the app does not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- Your game progress, personal bests, gems and settings (such as the language) are stored only on your own device. We do not receive them. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
- The app does not use your location, contacts, photos or other files. Maps and flags are built into the app.
- The app contains no analytics or tracking of its own.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
GeoRift is suitable for all ages, including children. The app shows rewarded ads through Google AdMob, only when you choose to watch one, for example to earn gems. Because children may play, the app treats every player the same way:
- Every ad request is marked as directed at children and at users under the age of consent. Ads are never personalised, and no advertising profile is built.
- Only ads suitable for a general audience (rated G) are shown.
- Google AdMob is certified for use in apps for children under the Google Play Families policy.
To show and count an ad and to prevent fraud, Google still processes limited technical data, such as your IP address and device information. Google processes this data under its own responsibility. 4. Your choices
- You never have to watch an ad. The game can be played without them; ads only give extra rewards.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android device settings.
5. Your rights
We do not store any personal data about you ourselves, so there is nothing for us to look up, correct or delete. If you have a question or complaint, email privacy@sembricks.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
6. Children
Children can play GeoRift. We do not ask for or collect personal data from anyone, children included: no name, no age, no account. Ads are never personalised and are suitable for a general audience. Parents with questions can contact us at privacy@sembricks.com.
7. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
